Panda has had a horrible game. 0-4 without a clue at the plate, and two plays that should have been errors, but were generously scored "hits" by the homer scorekeeper.

I would like Panda and Pence to get an off day tomorrow , come back fresh Friday Night in Arizona

I am sure tzill would approve of the game in AZ. After 7 innings, only six hits combined between both teams, and only 1 run. That one run is scored by the team with by far the lower payroll.

Affeldt has been awful lately. In the last ten games, he has pitched 7 innings, given up 10 hits and six walks while striking out 5. His ERA is only 1.29 in that stretch, but how many inherited runners has he let in?

I don't have any fancy stats in front of me, but watching him play short...well, I'm not impressed. Average range, slow release, average arm at best. I wonder if the Dodgers move him to 3rd next year.

Um, isn't that how he wore out his welcome in Miami? He's a shortstop.

They wanted to make him a third baseman with the signing of Reyes.

Belts slash line for the season looks like it is going to end up about where we all hoped it would, only 7-10 jacks short - I think most here would have snapped up 275/360/425 and 15-20 hrs.
