Odd thing: I just watched the highlight of the Chez3 laser. Miller says "and NOW it's an official game." I'm pretty sure a game is official once it goes 4.5, not a full 5 innings.

Yeah. Basically, by rule, an official game is 5 full innings, but if the home team is ahead, the last half inning, or any portion of it, can be waived off.
