From the way Flemm is describing this game, it almost seems like the Giants are just spectators so far. This entire inning was the Cubs gifting the Giants, and the bottom of the first was the Cubs offense producing that entire outburst (Sammy was exhausted by the time he started pitching badly due to the lead off AB).
