I have to somewhat agree with this statement. Teo is one of the biggest recruits ever for ND. Tough to top top. Also I don't see J. Smith coming in 2nd in the Heismen like Te'o did.

I agree with you both...Teo was a big, if not the biggest, recruiting win for ND. Keep in mind he was a Morman "lock" for USC, but signing day picked up the ND hat...even after that mess of a season ('cuse) we had. That was a pretty big deal then. Jaylon was an ND lock from the get go.

Smith, although won't finish second in the Heisman, is a better overall player than Manti. He can cover one on one in coverage, probably most WR. Can rush the passer off the edge as well if need be. Just a freak of an athlete.
