Without their defensive shore-ups in the offseason, this game plan of holding on until OT wouldn't be possible

I'll record the NESN footage overnight to get their take on the "hold".

The only comment the bobsy twins (Steiggy & co.) made was "didn't get called for the free hand".

Free Hand: When a free hand is used to hold, pull, tug, grab or physically restrain an opponent from moving freely, this must be penalized as holding. The free hand may be used by a player to “fend off” an opponent or his stick, but may not be used to hold an opponent’s stick or body.

My contention there wasn't any pull, tug or grab, he just stood him up best he could without having a stick in his hand. and made him change direction by having body position on him. You guys made it sound so blatent that I took your word for it when I didn't notice the play originally.

And I am. While I believe, for the most part, both teams played excellent last night, you guys completely won fair and square in OT. I am just still bent outta shape about that first goal.

... but like I said, I'll take the one point. On to Montreal Tuesday.
