What a great surprise. When I got home, I turned my TV on to CSN, and my TV has this overlay for the first 20 seconds or so that happens to cover the top score on that CSN graphic, so I could only see that the Cardinals still had 0 runs. It was 3-0 when I left work, so I thought, well I hope the Giants added a couple runs, and then the TV drops the 11 bomb on me. Nice!

Sorry I missed it. I was at the San Jose Giants at the Stockton Ports game. A tough game for the Baby G's, as they lost 14-12 on a walk-off two run dinger in the bottom of the 9th.

Impressions?

1) Neither team could pitch tonight.

2) Panik was awesome. Played good D, and was 4-4 with a double, a homer deep to right, 3 runs scored, two RBI's, and a walk.

3) Susac was 2-5 with a double to left. He made a terrible throw to 2nd on a stolen base attempt from his knees and airmailed it to centerfield.

No one else really made much of an impression.
