This.

Two bad, worthless ABs.

I am willing to forgive Blancos, since PHing is hard, and Blanco has been quite good this year.

Pagan... ???

It's a broken record now, but I can't help but think where this offense would be if our worst hitter batted 8th instead of 1st (or was replaced with a better defender).

Aoki was taken out? I guess Noggin wants to rest his leg, and lineup-wise, it makes sense, but after that AB, he deserves to stay in the game.

We all see it, they see it too. Pagan has to be dealt with somehow, wouldn't you think?
I have 100% faith that the brain trust is/will deal with it in the right and proper manner.

I would bat Pagan 9th, not 8th. He absolutely zero power. Having a pure OBP buy batting 8 is a complete waste.

Would you rather Aoki remain in the game or Pagan? All for one slot in the order?

Oh yeah, you're right. I misunderstood you, agree.

Although the point was a good one about resting Aoki's leg, and his hitting not being back yet

Including today, Aoki is 6-34 since coming back.

In the same time period, Pagan is 4-26.

Even when Duffy makes an out, I am impressed. He pokes it hard the other way all the time.

I swear. It is like we have a team full of Marco Scutaros now.

Pretty similar
Paga has had more rest.

Resting Aoki (keeping his PAs down?) and preserving the lineup is the clear reason. Pulling Pagan instead would have been a video game move.
