Looks like those come-back games in Oakland woke up the bats a bit. They are striking earlier now, which is really important for the rotation.

I thought they made a rule a couple years ago that these kinds of calls won’t be considered.

They HAVE to address that. That is BS.

If you want to consider that an out, than no runner could ever be called out, or safe, for that matter. They never actually touch the base, nor are they ever tagged by the fielder. And on force plays, the fielder never actually comes in contact with the bag.
