Giants comeback WIN 6-5 over Phills

After a tough loss last night the Giants bounced back with a comeback win 6-5 over a scrappy Phillies team.

After getting down 5-1 on a sunny day at the yard the Giants found some sunshine of their own rallying for 4 runs in the 6th inning to tie it up. In the 8th the Giants pulled ahead when Blanco got a nice single to score Panik who tripled to lead off the inning. Pence had a HR in the 1st inning. Morse was a force today going 3-3 including 2 doubles and a triple. Panik and Blanco were key players also in the victory.

The bullpen came up huge throwing 5 shutout innings and let the offence come back with Romo getting the save. Giants needed this win pretty bad and showed heart. Sunday is the rubber game with Lincecum on the mound.

Today the word was Comeback and comeback they did just when some wanted to pull the plug. There is no give up on this club and the next month and a half should be something to watch.
