I suspect that the days of Posey "resting" at 1B are over. Belt has taken that step, and now they have a real prob on their hands for the next few years with getting Posey his 140 games.

Good problem to have, but a problem none the less.

I am not going to bet this game, though. Le Grope is having a nice year, but he is susceptible to the long ball, and Stanton is a stud to fear. Eovaldi is also a solid young arm...

Should have been gone sooner IMO, for their sake. They wasted a year of rebuilding trying to compete with the Braves and Nats, which wasn't going to happen. Nats haven't performed, but the Braves are running away.

I wouldn't count this as over yet. Our 2013 Giants may yet figure out how to blow a game where they score 12 runs.

Belt always seems to get hot once the Giants call up Brett Pill
