Tonight, 10 hits, but only one XBH, 1-9 with RISP. (last ten games, 12-76 with RISP, .158)

Our hitting is getting worse, and worse, and worse, and nothing happens. The lineup is juggled. BB9 goes on a tear. But Posey, Pence, Pablo have been miserable failures at driving in runs when the opportunity presents itself.

In the last 10 games, Posey has 2 RBI, Pence has 5 RBI, Pablo has NO, NONE, ZERO RBIs, and hasn't driven in a single run since July 31.

And I have very little hope in the 2014 draft. This is a miserable season to be sure, and it pains me to see the boys play this badly for this long, while the coaches seem to be asleep at the wheel, and the best, the BEST, we can do is sign a KC castoff to bolster our anemic offence. And the Dogs just keep on rolling. This is a historical roll they are on. My prediction is that they are peaking too soon, and will get crushed in the playoffs. One can only dream. And I also dream of a LF who can hit the ball over the fence at least twice a month, or even more, for an entire season. And someone who can drive in runs.
