I still think either Lopez has a sudden "injury" or Osich even possibly gets optioned. Just don't see the Giants unceremoniously releasing him. They didn't do that to Affeldt. The bullpen isn't as good as last year's team but I still think he won't be released.

They only kick a guy to the curb when he has been a pain (Rowand, Teh Nada), or he requests it (Scutaro). Good Giants gets to stay in the dugout through the ride, if they want.

Romo is one of the straight up leaders of that pen, maybe the guy now that Affeldt's gone, and Santiago is not that kind of vocal leader type. His return matters, he's been here for all 3, he's like the Posey of the pen or some shit. Retool with one lefty and we are ready to battle. With more reinforcements in the 2nd half (Pence, Panik, Duffy, Cain, etc....)
