And I hate to admit it, but his defense this past week hasn’t been horrible. That play on the leadoff double today, while he didn’t make the catch, was a decent play. He knew he had Yaz playing the ricochet, so he played it aggressive to try to make the catch.

The tough stretches are never fun. But every season has them including championship ones. They weren't gonna win at the pace they were at all year.

The 2014 WS got bumped and it reminded me how the Giants had a stretch after the all star break that was so bad tzill bailed on the team (big surprise I know)
