Considering Matt Cain has started rehab, can we even expect Suarez to be starting any time in the near future?

The Giants have basically announced that they will be skipping 'his' (Suarez) next start, so no starts for him until after the ASG.

I think it was kind of a short-term solution. Suarez isn't avail to pitch for 4 days anyway, and Romo was ready to come back. I suspect Suarez will be back soon enough. He is our primary long-guy anyway.

I wouldn't be surprised if Stratton comes up as the long reliever and they keep Suarez at Sacramento to keep him in the rotation in case he's needed again.
