I am hoping to go to some games, perhaps mid-August. I am going with some buddies to see a game in Reno in a week or so. One of them just moved to Incline Village, and we wanted to see a game with him.
My daughter, born and raised in LA, wants to take me to a Giants game against the Nats. And she's going to be paying for it herself.
Aces ballpark is a nice upgrade over Moana Stadium, but the town itself has become a strip mall pit. I was there a couple of months ago for a college reunion and couldn't believe how awful the place is now. It was never great, but it's awful now. Nonetheless, baseball is baseball.

My affinity toward the lad is due to the fact that I followed him in college (saw him vs. Stanford and Cal) and met him in ST a couple years ago. I have only a few signed baseballs and he's one. I pulled for us to draft him (as some will remember) and was shocked when it actually happened.
