Thru three Sammy's not doing too bady. No HRs (crosses fingers) and only 1 er.

Sammy allowed 3 HR in apr, 2 in may, and 9 IN JUNE. A new month though so lets hope he got that BS out of his system.

CRAW and MAC BACK TO BACK!!!!! 5-1.

460 feet on Mac's homer.

111 mph exit velocity. Has the hardest hit ball for the Giants this year, had the hardest hit ball last year.

I have to think either Mac or Parker gets dealt for pitching help. Which is a shame, both could end up being Adam Duvall power wise.

But it's not like it's one day bad Sammy one day good....he was terrific for almost 2 months, then has been shit for a month+, uninterrupted streaks.

He could still get a QS out of this game :peep:

Hank thinks he's refocused:

Notwithstanding Gosselin's long out, the review gave Shark a breather. Then Rags went out to the mound. Shark refocused. #SFGiants

No reason to hide behind that wall, that's absolutely correct. Only 50 pitches thru 4, he could go 8.

But would it be wise to trade either away without knowing when Pence will be back, with Pagan's injury history and with Span potentially on the shelf?

Maybe maybe not. Just saying, you gotta give to get, and that's where we have some strength. Don't we need bully help more than both young OFs?

It seems so scary trading away pieces this year. Considering how this team is playing, there seems to be a surprising lack of depth, partially because of injuries but a lot to do with guys playing poorly in the minor leagues. I know, trading is supposed to add to depth but it feels like the trade off might be more risky than other years. Then again, I probably think this way every year.

Bochy......Samardjiza.....seriously? I remember 2010, and the torture sucked. Not much of a fan of it now.

Believe me I'm not 100% sold on it either, but the bullpen is a real problem. Pens win rings. Ours isn't good enough.
