OK. Can anyone explain to me how all our starters except Bum have struggled this year, our best pitching prospects can't fill the gap, and so we throw in this journeyman reliever who is too small, who hasn't started a game since 2009, and he becomes arguably our best pitcher?

How did we miss him until now? What did we do if anything to turn him into a star that we could not do with our best prospects?

Our best pitching prospects are all babies. Kickham, Heston are not our top pitching prospects, hell they were barley even prospects. Kickham looks like he could be a decent 5th starter, Heston was DFA'd.

Gaudin is a great story though. Another classic dumpster dive by Sabes.
