I know we are up 5-0, but.....

the RISP woes continue. 2nd and 3rd, a run in, and no outs, and we don't score again? :L

Can't you ever be satisfied?! :suds:

But I'd take 5 runs a game with some RISP issues all day. That's just baseball and pitchers hitting their spots. Can't they get credit every once in awhile?

Yeah, here's Trumbo's "all or nothing" fielding skilz :

I had a Snakes fan try to tell me right after the trade that Trumbo was a decent enough defender. This clip would have closed the argument.

I thought the Huddy signing was genius, though I did not expect him to pitch this well. I was excited because some of his approach could rub off on Timmeh. Does anyone here think that has happened? Have to seen any writing in that regard? Huddy has had to reinvent himself a few times as well, so Timmeh can obviously learn from him, if he is willing. Seems to be willing.

Yeah, during spring training I heard a short interview with Timmy, with him talking about Huddy teach him that it's all about keeping the ball low in the zone, and not missing high, and that he (Timmy) was taking that to heart. It sure took him long enough to implement, though.

Out of curiosity, can whoever does those pitch mappings do one that shows ALL of Timmy's pitches in the game?

He was certainly missing down. Great sign.

Giants turn out the lights on the D-Backs 5-0 on Orange Friday

His name is Tim Lincecum and right now he is matching Kershaw start for start as the two best pitchers in the NL . Lincecum was rolling tonight and the D-Backs were his bowling pins....strike ! strike ! strike ! that my friends is called a turkey and Tim had Kirk Gibson gobbling in the visitors dugout shaking his head. Who is this guy ? He is the fuck yeah kid who's confidence is overflowing like texas tea on Jed Clampetts land . He has all Giants fans doing the Jed Clampett jam as Lincecum is now 4-0 in his last four starts. His 1 ER in his last 31 1/3 innings is the Cy Young Tim of old and I am going to ask Bochy if I can borrow Tim to roll some dice for me in Vegas. Lincecum's line tonight was dominant... 7 IP 3 H 0 ER 2 BB and 6 kick ass strikeouts.

The offense came strong tonight as the Panda lit up the crowd with a 2 run HR booming blast to right center as the plugged up water cannons finally exploded with delight. Crawford added a single in the 2nd to score Colvin to stretch the lead to 3-0. Lincecum had a huge sac bunt that was a safety squeeze to score the rook Panik making it 4-0. There was no panic in the Giants tonight as the Panda boomed a double to score the superspeeded one ....Pence in the 5th to cap the scoring on the night.

Pence,Belt, and Sandoval the top three hitters in the line up went a combined 6-12 with 3 runs scored and 3 RBI's. Morse also had a hit and had the play of the night on defense rolling in like the midnight freight train to snag a fly ball that brought the fans to their feet .

It was a big win by the Band of Brothers who jumped back over the Dodgers barely for first place in the West. Lincecum was huge knocking out a D-Backs team that has given him trouble in the past . He was sharp and the team played good fundamental baseball for the greatest fans in baseball.

I stayed after the game in my seat to take in the scene as Tony Bennett sang a winning song over the PA system as my friends the seagulls hovered above looking to drop a shit bomb on Larry. Larry was gone but I laughed thinking about it as the two light standards in center went boom boom out for the night in beautiful San Francisco. Then it was time to party !

A top notch win for the Hometown 25.

Go Giants !!

Correction... Lincecum has only allowed 1 earned run in 30 1/3 innings not 31 1/3 innings.
