Just starting the game now, but I have already been spoiled about the first inning pitching prowess.

Watching Horowitz hit for the Jays made me think of Brian Horowitz, who played for us a while back. I was shocked to find he was with us in ‘08!? That was before we came here?? Holy shit. It doesn’t seem THAT long ago…

And Ramos’ glove is becoming an issue…

Gave up three in the 1st

Got two back

It is painful to watch Flowers, Thairo, and Yaz be so pathetic at the plate. Maybe time for a change there, can't have half your lineup hitting less than .220
I wouldn't be surprised if Wilmer is at the end of his shelf live. Doesn't really add anything positionally and he looks lost / anemic at the plate. Love him and what he's done here, but hard to understand how his roster position is justified

Running out of time to start winning consistently and make a playoff push...if they don't add anyone to this team not sure they have enough, it was always a matter of time and they can't get and stay above .500

I’ll give you Flores, he is horrendous but Yastrzemski got 2 hits including a homer. Why the hell is Flores playing anyway, is Wade hurt again?

Really feel this series was a lost opportunity, coming off that road trip (which could have been better) and series wins against the Dodgers and Cubs. We had 3 actual starters. Considering Snell's impressive performance, Webbies strong 5 (?4) innings, and a less than impressive season so far for Gausman, this should have be a series win.

This team is ready for a break and hopefully they'll get some energy going.

Just don't tank against the Twinkies

Ya, it seems like they take 3 steps forward and 2 steps back. They won three series in a row and now they lose two in a row

Wade is legit made-o-glass. If we can get a nice prospect out of him, I am 100% AOK with shipping him. But I don’t think it is that much of a secret that he has trouble staying on the field, so not sure what his value would be.

Always rooted hard for Horowitz. His nickname was The Rabbi.

I do wonder about our manager sometimes dealing with our pitching. I understand we our short on pitching but Hicks obviously needs a rest or needs to be put in the pen for a while. Instead another loss

He’ll probably be shelved when Ray and/or Cobb are ready.

I made a similar comment about his body being largely made of glass. Reminds me of Erik Armstead

Soler is back tonight and leading off. Wade, Forto, Yaz, Wise all in vs a RHP. Hoping Soler, Forto and Chap all build value this month.
