Game Thread: 7/10 Desert Serpents @ Bum Day

That's a lot of years and I assume a lot of games. Did you ever see the Gs get no hit?

A ton of games. Started going in 1973...I've been to over 1,000 in person. Vast majority in SF of course, but I've been to 20 of the 30 current stadia. I've seen three no-nos thrown against the Giants:

1980 -- Jerry Reuss shut us out at the Stick (Vida Blue was our starter)
1992 -- Kevin Gross shut us out at the Latrine (I think our pitcher was Oliveras, not sure)
1997 -- Kevin Brown shut us out at the Stick (Van Launchingpad was our starter)

I've not seen us no hit at the Phone -- not sure it's happened here.

not sure. Probably a handful. I think I saw Bum do it to the Puds last year.

Remember the meme from before where the Giants couldn't get any top level FAs to come here? 2016 sure killed that meme.

Tremendous first half. Better than ANY of us expected at season's start. Ain't over yet but great to see, and with missing pieces still. Can't think of a single thing negative to say about this team's results.
