A positive on the night is seeing the bench guys get a few hits and stay sharp. It's also good that the starters get some rest.

Giants need to retaliate against the Nats in the 9th. Someone needs to get brushed back.

Would love to see the Giants put some heat on the Nats here in the 9th. Just let them know this is their yard and set it up for tomorrow.

Pagan has a slight limp going. I hope he can play tomorrow.

Total domination by the Nats. Giants' pitching was awful (Kontos can go to Fresno any time now.) Hitting was non-existent. No walks. Blanco gets caught stealing down 7 runs. At third. :nono: Truly forgettable game.

Get 'em tomorrow.

Nats too good tonight winning 9-2 over Giants

Well no one expected the Giants to go 141-21 this year. One of those games where the Nats hitters and Strasburg were too good. Nats break a great 5 game winning streak by the Giants. Vogey did not have his best night. Bumgarner gets the nod tomorrow and the Giants need to come into the game and show the Nats that this is our house. Bum has won 6 in a row so hopefully he can beat Fister and the Nats. Looking forward to that game. Hey get some sleep and go get em' Tuesday.

Go Giants !!

I hope Bumgarner sends a message to the Nats after the way Morse got plunked tonight. Matt Williams was a tough nosed player and he has to expect a little retaliation back. Krukow was right saying that the Nats relievers are not afraid to throw inside. I like that but someone has to eat some dirt Tuesday for them.

I'm kinda with BoB on this one, The Nats punked us in the game then made a point to get nasty with us. I like it, respect it. But we gotta send a message back we won't be pushed around.

Best 3 pitchers up next, we gotta win 2.

A truly forgettable game at the Park tonight. OTOH, I walked home to Russian Hill...took about 50 minutes, down the Embarcadero, through North Beach, up the hill. Spectacular walk. Gotta do that more often.

Tron with an outing that looks worse than it was; Kontos cashed in both his inherited runners. Kontos likely to be the guy sent down when KCya is back. Strausburg looked real good, Barrett looked even better.

Get 'em tomorrow.
