The force is strong in San Francisco as they win in a walkoff 5-4 over Mets

This was superhero night in San Francisco and the hero's were out in force in the stands and on the field. Hudson started for the Giants and struggled some but somehow someway he kept the Mets in check enough to only allow 3 runs over 5 innings. Colon for the Mets got out of trouble time and time again as the Giants could not cash in on rally's early on.

Things changed in the 6th inning when with two outs Wright threw away a ball by second base into right field and opened the door for Giants superhero's to do their thing. Pagan otherwise known as Crazy Horse was galloping all over the bases on this Saturday night and his clutch hit with two outs scored 2 runs which was huge as the Giants rode into striking distance down only 4-3.

The bullpen did well tonight holding the Mets to 1 ER over the last 4 innings. It all came down to the final scene in this action movie type game. Pagan led off striking out but the ball got away as the force kicked in. Pagan legged it out and the winning rally had life. Pagan was the player of the night going 3-5 but was on base all 5 times twice on errors. His two RBI's and run scored sparked this Giants win. He was pure energy and the Giants feed off it.

Back to the 9th inning we go as Hunter Pence one of the MASH Brothers doubled down the left field line to score Crazy Horse Pagan and tie the game at 4-4. Buster Flash Gordon sent a high fly to left that moved Pence to third and after the Kung Fu Panda was walked the other MASH Brother stepped up . You could hear a mumbling in the crowd with the seagulls ready to eat flying around ...May the Morse be with you ! Morse had been given that t-shirt by Pence and has been wearing it. Morse drove a ball to deep right center with the outfield in as his brother Pence glided home with the walkoff winning run . The Giants had won the game 5-4 in not the best played game but it was the most exciting.

The good guys win in a happy ending as the sold out crowd went home smiling and would not forget the night when the superhero's saved the day. The Giants now have a 9 1/2 game lead over the Dodgers as they go for the sweep over the Mets Sunday with the Freak Tim Lincecum taking over the superhero duties.

Mike Krukow said it best after the game. "All this team does is wins". Right on ,Man ...Right on.

And may the Morse and the Force be with this Giants team always ! Ya gotta believe ! T-E-A-M !
