Agreed re healthy pen but I'm less disturbed by choosing Edlefsen to pitch what looked like the beginning of an extra inning game. Vs a nobody rookie, etc.

I'm more annoyed leaving lefty larue Affeldt in to face Quentin who was crushing it. That's where Romo needed to be used.

Bochy put the kid in a high-leverage, high-preasure situation, and the KID failed. I am pretty sure Dennis Eckersley failed once or twice in his career as well...

Again, I am not saying I am against the move in general. Kontos has put together nice numbers his entire career. I would like to see if has anything for a MLB career. I just do not see the move coming within the next 4 or 5 days.

That pitch reminded me of a few Brad Hennessey and Kevin Correia used to throw. Low and away target, but the ball floats "up" and back over the plate.
