Tauchman reminds me a bit of Rajai Davis. I got to attend a Giants game during his rookie year with the Giants and he seemed electric that night. He was getting on base and causing havoc on the basepaths. I remember thinking that maybe the Giants found their next leadoff hitter. Alas, he wasn't really able to duplicate that game.
Yeah, I know that Tauchman and Davis are two very different types of hitters. The similarity is one game for each was electric but subsequent games failed to live up to that initial expectation that was set. Hey, Tauchman is getting enough playing time that he could turn it around but so far, he doesn't seem that good.
