Pull Teheran here as I will win my Fantasy match up and Giants fans don't give up down 3-0 with three AB innings left,

Take a page out of the NY Mets today coming back down 3-0 vs the sCrUBS in their last AB listening too with my Dad in the car on the way to Fathers Day dinner winning 4-3 on a walk off 3 runner with my Dad as a sCrUBS fan.

Thanks for the false hope.

The sCrUBS have no relief pitching. Marmol as closer?

LOL

The reason if you had a ticket here as a Giants fan that 4 or less down late with 2-3 AB's left is nothing and a comeback is there if you can chip away with timely hits instead of the instant quick stressing trying every batter to jack the ball out of the park to get back in it.

1 freaking walk is patience? :noidea:

Loved Blanco's AB in the 7th, though it was eventually fruitless. He did give an extended battle.

Very few quick ABs...not a lot of walks, but very few 1 and 2 pitch ABs.

Shark/Stamos 0-8 with 4Ks tonight. Not exactly "setting the table."

Sorry for the false hope but still you can't give up as we all seen our fav team win games late down 4 to less down.

Bochy pitching tactics must be questioned by you Giants fans.

2 times bases loaded, 0 runs.

That, really, was the game.

I am done with psycho-boy. Time to put in JCP/Pags/Kiesch/Brown/Whomever. I will always look at you as a good Giant for tht monster 2010, but DANG are you painful to watch now...

Agreed here. With the injuries, we need a spark, an upside surprise. We ain't getting it from Towers. Is he still using that monstrously heavy bat?

JCP seems to be earning a closer look. At worst, how much could it hurt? At best we may find a coachable young man with good speed and gap power who has done better at every level.

Blanco hasn't been doing his career many favors lately either with the bat. Gotta at least love his glove.

On a more positive note, I was reasonably impressed with Dunning. He was hitting 93 with the fastball, and looked pretty fluid.

Kid could use a sandwich, though. Might be good if they could get him to room with Senor Creosote - kinda even each other out.

That was about as close as a game can be when one starting pitcher is beginning almost every count 2-0 and the other is starting 0-2 (though, Timmy obviously did a fantastic job of battling back). Plus, Atlanta has Craig Kimbrel. The one strength the Giants had clicking on all cylinders going into this series ended up losing a game for them. Then, the Braves showed that their bullpen is superior, yesterday. Hopefully, that won't be the case in October.

Yep. I thought Timmy did a good job of pitching ugly. And, yes, Kimbrel is a beast.

Despite all that, if Upton doesn't make that catch in left on that looper with the bases loaded, it is a completely different ballgame.

Agreed, but the real story is when we had tons of guys on base, career bench guys like Arias or rookie scrubs like Noonan were up to bat. This is due to injuries. We are better than the team America got to see last night.

As far as Schilling's analysis, while it might be right, I have to think Righetti, Bochy, Timmy, Timmy's dad, and the rest can see it too. So why it's not fixed is probably because it can't be. This is now who he is.

Well, you would run the risk of Panda eating him....so I dunno. :noidea:
