I used to drink a lot of these when I was a teenager and it was all we could afford. Not the worst beer in the world.

I would like the Phillies to trade Cole Hamels to a team that scores a lot of runs.

Not sure if they will or not.

On one hand, they've got him signed to a relatively team-friendly for another four seasons, so they could build around him.

On the other hand, he and Papelbon are about the only two pieces they have that have any value whatsoever.

He's got a somewhat interesting no-trade clause:

limited no-trade protection (may block trades to 20 clubs each season) (for 2014 season, may block deals to all clubs except Atlanta, Boston, LA Angels, LA Dodgers, NY Yankees, San Diego, St. Louis, Texas and Washington) (no-trade list for 2015 season includes Boston but not Chicago Cubs)

Their young third baseman Franco looks promising. I also think that Revere is a bit underrated as a leadoff hitter.

After three infield hits, a Sac Fly, and Bud Black getting ejected Andrew Cashner didn't think he should be removed from the game. So he blew up in the new managers face. But I suppose that was all BS too.

At what point did I completely mindfuck you? I'd like to know just out of curiosity.

June 11, 2015 @ 2:22 PM, when you stated that I didn't know what happened in front of me.:thumb:

Are you going to be ok? Will you recover in time? Did you sleep last night?

Nah, Slinky posted his no-trade list earlier, and the Saux are on there for 2015.

Not commenting on whether the Sox would or should go after Hamels, but no-trade clauses (particularly against high-payroll teams) are often used by the player for leverage -- "you want me? I want a raise."

This advice might be a little more meaningful if it came from anyone but a Phillies fan. Although I guess you guys ought know about poorly conceived, constructed, coached.

If I was Pat Gillick, I'd dick slap Amaro Jr every morning when I walked into the office for what he's done to that team.

I wish the whole situation escalated to the point that they were all flinging mud and someone released the pics of Pedroia blowing Ortiz in the locker room.

Just saw this tweet on the espn MLB scoreboard page and thought the phrase "may go on paternity leave" was kind of curious:

"Terry Collins says Jeurys Familia may go on paternity leave and Bobby Parnell could close, per @Mike_Vorkunov 42m"

Perhaps Familia is wrestling with whether or not to take paternity leave. :noidea:
