I just keep thinking back to that 87 cover. That post gave me a seizure.
Joe always looked better in blue, though.

17 losses by 2 runs or less, which kinda sucks (makes up for more than half the losses) but isn't something I'm going to blame on luck when you start the season with 2 rookies in the rotation and a AAA BP. Injuries bit early, and they've played most of the season with a makeshift outfield that for the most part can't play OF (see Colabello, Chris). They've also been god-awful on the road, as is customary with the Jays.
The offence was always going to be one of the best given the firepower but since Sanchez settled down his control issues and Estrada started throwing quality starts they've looked better. Still, one pitching injury and all hell will break loose and that's one dept. they've been lucky in so far.
It's their own fault. Jays have been bottom half in AL ERA since 2010 (including AA's entire tenure here), and yet this winter their big moves were for a 3B and C while they addressed the rotation/BP "internally".Being 5-12 in one-run games doesn't help their cause.
Bout damn time. Hopefully they can at least pick up 2 in Boston.Makes sense. Looks like you'll be picking up one on the Yanks today. They didn't bring in Betances with a 2 run lead and the bed was shat upon.

If 5 seasons of god-awful pitching doesn't nudge you toward addressing that part of your team, what will?
The number of people up here who give him a pass is disgusting. Everytime I see Reyes make a throw to first that ends up in the stands, or watch Dickey serve up a bomb on a platter, a part of me dies. That dude, Popodopolopolus, up there running the team is a crackpot.

Scribes were trying to paint this as an indicator of who won the trade from a couple years ago, even though only two players are still on the Jays from that deal.Interleague is bullshit.
Miami at Toronto???
That is a virtually meaningless matchup!
Aside from the hollowed out cave that is the ballpark, very lovely.Man, Toronto must be absolutely gorgeous right now? Damn, would love to go there then Montreal.
