This is why I said there is no point to moving on. Self serving bastardization of what was said to prove something that isn't provable.
Stats between teams with no common opponent mean nothing. Period. Stop. End of discussion. This isn't anything new. And is entirely consistent with anything I've ever said throughout the history of college football. You have nothing there.
I've watched both teams. Have you? And I don't mean highlights, I mean full games snap to snap. I saw the pressure Cal had on USC, but of course they still don't have the consistency to be a real threat in the north.
I watched WSU in a couple of games. I've seen what their D line looks like and I don't think they match up as well against USC's Oline. And I'm not buying their secondary. If Darnold has targets that get clear and he has any time in the pocket he will make them pay.
You see I base my opinions of both off what I've seen, not stats on a page. My eyes don't lie to me. Stats lie all the time. If you want to stick blindly to stats between teams with no common opponents then by all means knock yourself out. Trying to use them as some sort of proof of anything will just get you laughed at though.
TL;DR, and quite honestly don't care what you said anyway.
