-30 second shot clock
-only the player with possession of the basketball should have the ability to call a timeout(coaches and players away from the play should not be able to bail them out) many times the ref away from the play awards the timeout when the team doesn't even have possession of the basketball
-a team timeout should replace the next tv timeout if one is called
-eliminate the elbow rule on all basketball plays.
-fouls in the backcourt under 2 minutes should result in 1 shot and the basketball. the finally 2 minutes of games are out of control with intentional fouls.
