It was only slightly worse than the non-icing on the Pens third goal, and ended with the same result. Evens out. Now I can't bitch as much about the officiating screwing our team. So overall probably a good thing.

I'll accept the fact that sometimes a linesman's view is obstructed and he simply can't see whether someone is offsides or not. But there are FOUR officials on the ice, don't know how they ALL missed it.

Also, offside has really confused me since they put in the new rule about "receivable pass". Missing an icing isn't quite as bad as an offside that leads to a breakaway, but it looks like the players don't know half the time whether or not icing is being called.

It's official...the "icing" goal wasn't icing. Flyers player pinched down on Dupuis preventing Dup from playing the puck, so the icing was waved off.
