Fields has been better than I anticipated at the beginning of the season. Martinez has been worse than I anticipated.

Generally it's the coaches that change things. A lot of these guys have decided that they want the offense to work a certain way, and damn the skills the individual player has. You have to keep changing the offense to play to the team's strength's. You can't decide that a certain type of offense is the way you want to play it.

I thought with Urbs leaving and starting essentially a true freshman QB, tOSU might take a step back.

I thought year two under Frost with a 2nd year QB would show vast improvement.

Neither has been the case.
