No way I send a player who is basically the equivalent of Kyrie(more efficient last year, actually), plus a solid 2 way player on a great contract, and a potential top 5 pick in a very good draft to the Cavs for Kyrie. How in the world do you think that is a great trade for the Cavs? IT is a FA after next year and is essentially a shorter version of Kyrie with a weaker outside shot.
Crowder is a serviceable player under a good contract. He's more of a sweetener than a core part of a trade.
Unless that future 1st is the Nets or Lakers/Kings 1st, no way do I do that trade if I'm the Cavs.
I'd be fine with IT, Crowder and maybe a late 1st rounder just because of Irving's age and contract, but the Nets/Lakers picks should be way the hell off limits.
