Were drowning, dont see us recovering from this, we chocked down the stretch, we got some serious decesion making this off season

I'll be pulling for the team, but it just doesn't look likely the way the team is constructed. Besides, now the team has put itself in a position where we are at the point we need to take 5/6 from Arizona just to pull back where we were at the start of homestand.
I dont think there are many HARD decisions this off season, really. Most of the decisions are no brainers, or already made...
Ross - Gone unless he takes a HUGE pay cut.
Torres - Gone unless he enters understanding he is #4 or #5 OFer.
TeNada - gone
OCrap - gone
Whitside - gone
Stewey - At best, non-roster invitee for '12.
DeRo - gone
Semi-difficult choices...
Keppy - he is still under team control, but may be a bit expensive for a bu 2B with little skill for other positions. May be required due to glass-Freddy, though.
Fontenot - Still under team control, but he is the exact opposite of Keppy, ie. lite hitting, lots of defensive flexibility. We have Gillaspie and Burris who can fill his roll, so I would not be surprised to see him non-tendered.
Beltran - Do the Giants make a run at him? I doubt it, after his complete tanking (emotionally, not necessarily with the bat).
Hard decisions...
Zito - DFA?
RoRo - DFA?
Sanchez - trade?
Good post but not sure if it's a hard decision to trade Sanchez. We need bats, we have arms. It's done.

Fuck Beltran!
I'm not mad at the trade, but he has been incredibly underwhelming in his tenure as a Giant.
They need to go out and actually spend some smart money. That means no DeRo's, no one year wonder RoRos, no fake aged Latin SS, and sure as hell no china doll Beltrans.
I know it won't happen, but I really wasn't Fielder now. A month ago I would have laughed at that statement, but now...
Yes, he's fat, but he's been fat his whole career, and that didn't stop him from posting .600 slg/1,000 ops seasons. He bats left, and is arguably the best power bat available. Pujols is better over all, but if I'm a Gm and dropping 9 figures, it's going to be on the guy who is 27, not 32.
Operating under the impression that Tim and Matt will want to test FA, we only have 2 more years, AND THE SHIT WE HAVE NOW AINT GOING TO CUT IT. If we're going to march the same Offense that we started this season with out there again next year, then we might as well trade them both now. Cause while not as bad as the ces pit we have now, it still needed help, and was no where near "good".
/end rant
My ideal fairly land line-up for next year
CF CoCo (he's the only decent FA, and Durty aint worth shit in a trade anymore)
2B Franchez (Definitely keep Kep to spell him, and as insurance)
3B Panda
1B Fielder
C Posey
RF Nate
LF Belt
SS Stamos/Carroll/Scutaro/ IDC, with that line up you can afford to have a shitty SS.
Reality
CF RoRo
2B Franchez
1B Huff
3B Panda
C Posey
RF Nate
LF Belt
SS Stamos

Easy decision to do it. Hard task to complete.
Durty has pretty much shit on any trade value he had.
I know hindsight is 20/20, but we should have unloaded him this OS, when he was coming off a stellar year and looked like a real#2 stat wise.
Crawford is a bust, imo.
Everyone likes to say "all he has to do is hit .250", well, he can't even do that in the PCL.

A bust? A fourth rounder cannot be a "bust". And he's hitting .253 in the PCL.
I didn't mean bust like he was a huge investment. I meant bust in the sense that he doesn't look like a replacement level player. Most of us would be lying to ourselves if we dindnt, at one point during this season, think he might be our SS of the future.
And no offense, but whooooo .253. He had been hovering around .245 for the last week or so.

Kinda off topic but there were some guys wanting to sign JJ Hardy last offseason. I wish the Giants would have listened. 280 avg, 25 bombs.
