Right now we would be better off resting everyone and calling it a loss

Mijares let both of his inherited runners score. Something wrong with Vogey. 7.78 ERA in early May?

Since last August 1, he has been terrible. And I like his story! I love how he has pitched, which makes his recent struggles such a puzzle. Is he too proud to tell someone of his struggles? Is he afraid that now he has arrived, and gotten a good contract, that he may blow that chance if he doesn't pitch hurt?

I hope he fixes whatever is wrong, we cannot afford many more outings like this one.

Tonight the Giants have zero walks. To a young pitcher who is pretty good, actually, but still walks about 3 per 9 innings.

He was terrible his last 10 starts of 2012 regular season and all starts this season. But he was one of the best in the postseason. Weird game.

With our pitching woes a split is all I was hoping for, and I figured last night for a loss. Must win tonight with Cain, even vs Hudson. Then Bum is a must win, so we can take the Lincecum loss.

Definitely. Before this series started, I thought a split would be ideal. Of course, I'll take 3-1 against one the best teams in baseball. With how they have been playing, the tough schedule and players still getting in shape, a split is a realistic goal.
