This season, I added walks. The Giants don't walk much, it seems, like the Warriors don't drive to the hoop and shoot FT's as often as they should.

In 13 losses, the Giants have 29 walks (2.2 per game)

In 19 wins, they have 64 walks (3.4 per game)

It's tempting to say that is telling, but I wonder how much of the added walks is just crappier pitching (so we have more wins), or how many IBB's are involved.

In other words, until I see more data, I am not committed as to which (wins or walks) my be the cause and which may be the effect.

I am not committed one way or the other, either, but I am paying attention to it. Coincidence is not often causality. And you are right, there may be other factors.

There is most likely an emotional let down after three hard fought victories against the Bums. Still, I'd hoped for a better showing against the Philth.
