Between the increased platoon matchups, the fluid closer role and openers instead of starters, baseball really is going to have to redefine how they measure Hall of Fame players. Or will the Hall of Fame merely become a relic of old school baseball?

I think games pitched, ERA, WHIP, K and BB rates and other, possibly yet to be fully accepted stats will need to be focused on more moving forward. Wins, IP, absolute Ks, etc will be less important.

I ended up bailing during that gross 7th inning. This team is impossible to watch right now. They aren’t playing a single aspect of the game well. Ugly in every aspect.
