Today’s lineup, featuring Mr. Brandon Belt for the season-high fourth time in a row…

Blanco RF
Gillaspie 3B
Cabrera LF
Posey C
Pagan CF
Belt 1B
Arias SS
Burriss 2B
Lincecum SP

Can't hit with RISP. Timmah can't stop throwing 25 pitch innings. The hell with it. 8-2 good guys.

So, the Fish, losers of 8 or 9, come into our house and sweep us in three straight.

The Brewers, losers of 5 of 7, come into our house and........?

Come on, Timmuh, throw strikes! Must have thought Zito's start the other day looked like it was worth imitating. :L

Theoretically, he can be sent down - he has all 3 option years left (he's never been optioned to the minors). But what's the point? Who would take his place in the rotation? It's a pretty silly idea to propose.

Secondly, soon he will not be able to be unilaterally sent to the minors. Players with at least 5 years of major league service time can't be sent to the minors without their consent. We are very, very quickly approaching that day (prob less than 2 weeks away). After Timmy has 5 years of service time, his consent is needed to send him to the minors.

It looked to me that on the "double play", the SS wasn't on 2B when he received the ball; it shoulda been a "single play". I guess I should be recording the game on DVD so that I can back up and do slo-mo replays and be sure.

Seems that there are a lot of "nine bucks" on this board. Instead of using words, they post pictures (that can be interpreted in several ways).
