Just so you know, both Padlo and Fairchild have already played in the big leagues (but not by much).
Padlo played with us a few weeks back. Wasn’t sure about Fairchild.

I am a bit behind.

The game just blew up for me. I think I may join tz on the bail.

Question…

Why was that a ground rule double?

I just looked up his AAA stats. These are for the season. BBRef does not give game logs for minor league games. I could have done more work to figure out trends, but I didn’t.

6.00 ERA
36 IP
1.50 WHIP
7.8 k/9
2.3 bb/9

Again, no idea about trends. But while the ERA appears a bit bloated, his secondary stats are not screaming for a call up and insertion into the rotation.

As I mentioned in another thread, Harrison may be muscling his way up the depth chart. I don’t expect anything more than a potential cuppo for him this season, but his graduation is certainly on the table now for this year.

I looked at his numbers after our thread exchange and noticed that they were bad as well. That is why I didn't bring it back up.

Here is a breakdown of his games:

He looked good before his call up and has pitched like crap since getting sent back down (except for his last game).

Here is my new candidate for replacing Cobb (or at least get a look when a starter goes down):
