I swear, every single game. Fantastic start, now we see what the pen will do. Only 1 run lead, no bueno. Rogers can only pitch the 9th.

Rogers hosed on the strikeout, giving up a walk

Next batter singles on a ball any competent 2b would field

Then Ruf with almost an error, and the safe call was overturned

Whew. Always an adventure with this bullpen. Grateful for the four run cushion. (no jinx)

FYWW yet again!

Stellar pen work especially from Littell and McGee, they only had 1 run leads. And Rogers credit for getting out of it.

I think we have a good team here

They miss our ace, but also our most inconsistent pitcher too as he pitches tomorrow.

Wood
Rook
Disco

I can live with that

Solano is the anti-high OPS, low-average. He's got a decent average but his OPS looks pretty mediocre.
There's a few like that out there still, like Tim Anderson. But they are throwbacks... remember Juan Pierre? He would hit .300 with a .320 OBP

Juan Pierre was the last of the 90s leadoff guy types. No power and no patience but they still would lead off just because they would steal 50 bases when they did get hits.
