As a pitcher, I think Lackey is one of the more underrated in the game and I'm a fan of what he does on the mound.

As a person, he's a gaping asshole.

Padres are the 1st team to hand the Cubs B2B losses as everyone would have predicted, and last night was their 1st win this season in a series finale. Drew Pomeranz has given up 5 hits or less and 2 runs or less in all but 1 start this year, it's still early but giving up Yonder and the lefty reliever for him is looking good.

Oh I agree, it's a little different when it's a career AL pitcher who just set a record. But I think there's too much bitchin' in general from pitchers when they get beat.

So, Medlen and Chris Young are potentially going on the DL. And Yordano Ventura has indicators saying he might be hurt... Not a fun time.

May see Chris Young move to the DL just so they have a guy who can go past 50 pitches for Sunday against the Braves.

I would have understood if Bethancourt had gone over the top with celebrating, but he just wanted to enjoyed the HR he hit out of the park. Lackey is probably upset his team didn't help him at all with the bats.
