Resident Fake Asian!
He wont make it through the whole game...... I say he get's "hurt"
Who's CGD?12:30 Pacific FS1 Opening line UW -11
CGD visits as well. I'm sure there will be pieces on Browning and discussions with Petersen. A chance to further the UW agenda on the national stage. Such a big opportunity to make a statement for the playoff voters and national recruits.
Huskies rise to No. 4 in AP poll, open as an 11-point favorite vs. No. 17 Utah
Saw where Troy Williams was said to have been looking forward to this game all season. Wonder if he's going to still be as excited to see his old team after the game is over?![]()
College Game DayWho's CGD?
Ooooohhh. I thought it was a recruit or somethingCollege Game Day
ESPN's 3 hour pre college game show. From 6am to 9am our time they will be broadcasting from Utah's campus and are guaranteed to be doing stories on UW. They always do features on the teams they are there to cover. It's massive exposure.

I watch most of CGD every week and pretty much all of them have been on the UW bandwagon this whole year. Herbie was touting them in the off season. I listened to a podcast of an interview he had with someone up here around the end of the OOC games where he had high praise for the team. He broke down the offense and defense in detail and was spot on.Kinda interesting that College Game Day is going there and Fox is covering the game...... I'm sure it's happen before, but I really wanted to hear that pretty boyadmit on National TV that Washington is legit....
Kinda like Blackledge did after the Stanford beat down
UW did an outstanding job of limiting both McCaffrey and Freeman to less than 60y rushing both of whom had well over 100y in their previous games. The key to this game is stopping the other Williams. This defense has confidence staying in man and dropping a safety down for run coverage. If Troy can't force them to stay back it's going to be a long day on that side of the ball IMO.I think this will be a good game. Battle for who has the most dominant D-line in the conference. I think Washington takes it, but it is closer than people expect. Troy Williams mediocre play is mitigated by Utah no longer throwing it because they are out of WR's

Browning hasn't been pressured a whole lot this year, but he did fine when pressured last year behind a line that was still finding its way. As much praise as has been heaped on Browning and Ross for the offense so far, it's been the growth and domination by the O line that has made it all possible. I very much look forward to seeing how that unit does against a good defense on the road. Biggest test you can give an offense.
This is one of 3 games left that I have said are games they can lose if they don't bring their A game. Particularly if they turn the ball over and allow any momentum. They haven't been asked to do much from behind this year. Their only real test of adversity was against Arizona and that was entirely about making too many mistakes, not trying to counter a tough team playing well.
One of our biggest pass rush threats will be out of this game, but in general we have not yet had a lot of substantial injuries. That for sure has been a part of the story of this crazy run. That is part of the issue, Utah has significant injuries on the Oline, so with Washington's Dline being so good it is an issue. Compound that with injuries to half the WR and several of their RB's and Utah is in some trouble. Utah always has a subpar Offense, but they have gotten away with it because they have not faced a truly elite defense yet. Washington will be able to take advantage where others have not yet. 34-24 Washington is my guess
Oooo, I bet Dubs is involved.I watch most of CGD every week and pretty much all of them have been on the UW bandwagon this whole year. Herbie was touting them in the off season. What's more important for that show....

No way he's not putting on the husky headgear.
Oh I'll DVR that shit and start from the beginning whenever I roll out of bed. I won't be able to watch the end of it until later anyway because my daughter has a major band competition that morning. The worst part about game day being there, is it have to be up to so I can watch all of it... usually I just roll out of bed between 6:30 and 8 on a Saturday, and think, "oh yeah, game day" and turn it on for background noise...
Remember when they came for that oregon game? We left at like 4:30 so we could check it out. But when we got on campus just decided "fuck it" and started drinking... I was a wreck that evening.

My wife asked me the other day if I'm staying for the entire day at the band competition. Each of the schools does the same routines like twice with a massive lunch break in the middle.Oh, not me baby!
The boy's last game of this season is at 4:30pm at the local stadium so I will proceed too get up at 5:45am pour my coffee, pet the cats, flop my ass on the coach and proceed to crank the volume to where I can only hear it and enjoy the piece and quite while everyone else sleeps so I'm not disturbed.....

I said hell no. I'll be there for the morning performance and I'm out of there by 11:30 to go watch the game.
I'll miss part of CGD, but no way in hell I'm missing the actual football game.
