I didn't even realize Toronto was a state, eh
That’s literally America’s hat.
Absolutely. And as a very patriotic American and someone who loves baseball, I wouldn't expect the Jays to participate in this. Just like I wouldn’t expect any of the other 29 teams to participate in any Canada day festivities. If I were Canadian I'd never wear that hat.
Loonies for everyone! So we finally granted Canada the statehood it has always desired.
adnormal?Maybe it's not adnormal.
adnormal?
Still think they should be exempt. Or better yet, wear a pure red hat with a white leaf. Canada Day is July 1. That is what they should honor.![]()
Stripes Re-Coloured, Stars Removed from Toronto Blue Jays 4th of July Cap
It turns out the Toronto Blue Jays will *not* wear that original red, white, and blue USA flag patterned cap we saw earlier this week over the Fourth of July wenews.sportslogos.net
A source with the Blue Jays confirmed to me today that the club would instead be wearing a star-free version of that cap we saw earlier. In addition to the lack of stars, the red, white, and blue stripes have been changed to just be blue and white to help lessen the look of the original American flag-inspired design.
Here’s a side-by-side to show you the differences between the original and new 2022 Toronto Blue Jays 4th of July caps:
