4th Annual You Suck PickEm

Picking this weekend's G5-G5 match-up was a piece of cake, but trying to decide on the P5-P5 match and the third pick were much harder since there were a bunch of games that are likely to get out of hand this go-round.

While I think Ohio St. will swamp Nebraska and Iowa St. is liable to plaster Baylor, and Texas A&M will likely trample Arkansas, I ruled those three out because I like Alabama over Ole Miss and Oklahoma over Texas Tech better. I also considered the MTSU at Iowa game, but decided to go with two P5-P5 mtach-ups this week instead of including a G5-P5 game this time out.

I hope you go for about 180 with that setup. I also hope that only one other person has the same picks.

I expected Maryland to make a better game of it than they have. Penn St. must feel like they have a point to prove to the voters.

I did also. I was going to take MD and the pts with the Hoop. Bookie, but when looking at their games and saw what MD was capable of, the Temple game, I backed off. Temple lost must have really been bad for them.

Road game for the higher ranked team on a Friday. Penn State kicking ass is the exception. Normally this is the definition of a trap game.

Got everybody entered this morning. Had softball Tuesday-Friday this week with 3 games and managed to walk away with the city championship. Would like to say it was my coaching, but have a stud pitcher who could easily be a varsity starter next year as an 8th grader if it was allowed. 3 tournament games and only gave up 9 runs, 1 earned.
