I had Georgia Tech. With their new offensive scheme I wasn't expecting them to hang 14 on Clemson, and their defense overperformed to keep Clemson from dropping 60+.

We took the same 3. I'd guess the difference for most this week will be who took Georgia tech and who took Duke.

Or who took both, since there's no limit on how many times you can pick a team to win against your picks to suck. I was banking on 90-100 points from those 2 games. Bama's going to need a couple of really late scores for me to reach that number.

I guess I didn't think about taking both. Texas State seemed like an easy "any" game for me.

I see your point, though I wasn't sold enough on Texas A&M to make that pick. That's the same reservation that made me pass on Tulsa (Michigan St.), South Alabama (Nebraska), and Florida Atlantic (Ohio St.)

Georgia Tech with their new offensive scheme that they don't really have the personnel yet for made me think they were going to struggle to put up points on Clemson, and we've seen Bama smoke enough good teams in openers in recent years to feel confident about them blowing out Duke. Besides, how often are you going to want to pick Georgia Tech or Duke to suck the rest of the season?
