49ers have no shot here. I would be shocked if we even kept it close. D will let up a lot of points here.

New Orleans defense isn't good for anything besides late hits out of bounds, so we should score, just not enough.
I disagree, I think we have a good 1st half again. struggle in the 2nd halfYeah...we might crack the 20 pt barrier. I'd say a good half of those points will come late in the fourth when the game is irrelevant. The Saints may drop 20......and then head into the second quarter.
It was fairly close until Davis' fumble at the goal line. That took the wind out of the 49ers' sails.I agree. Defense can't stop anyone and our offense isn't going to be able to keep up
Saw the 1st half, not the 2nd. I knew NO offense would just eat 49er D up and our offense can't keep up. Going for top couple of pics. Is there even a winnable game on the schedule?
Kaepernick's performance was as much an abberation as the defensive performance week 1 against the Rams. The only thing this confirms is that the Saints D is near our level in ineptitude. I want to say it's Kelly scheming guys open, because there were a LOT of wide open players that any QB in the league - yes...even Blaine Gabbert - would connect on, but I doubt it.
The run defense is historically bad - no team in NFL history has allowed a 100 yard rusher in seven consecutive games - and it's a collective effort. It's as if the concept of gap control isn't even taught. Congrats SF for the achievement.
I get that the talent is fully tattered, but there seems to be something more here. I get a sense that there are a lot of guys who might not even care, just as long as the cheque is in the mail - a scene that Frank Gore pointed out a good decade + ago, when SF was garbage. It pissed him off then, and I'd like to think that if true, there should be guys in the current locker room that are equally as pissed.
So far, nothing has come of it.....yet.
