This could be big, if we beat the Seahawks and Patriots at there home two weeks in a row all eyes will be on us as the #1 in the NFC and NFL even if we are the #2 seed. I think ATL Falcons are about to slip in the next couple of weeks

There's a couple threads with this topic on it but I'll post it in this one. Since last night there have been a couple people to ask if there have been other teams who have had to play on Sunday Night Football in back-to-back weeks. I started looking in the 2006 season because that's when flex scheduling started.

In 2007, the Patriots had to play on Sunday Night Football in back-to-back weeks, BOTH away from home. In week 11 they had to play Buffalo and won 56-10. In week 12 they had to play Philadelphia and won 31-28. They had to play 3 out of 5 games on SNF during that stretch as well. That's as far as I've gotten for now.

2008 - Week 15 - Giants @ Cowboys. Giants lost. Then in week 16 the Giants had to travel to Carolina and they beat the Panthers in overtime.

That's quite a dream! I think we are closer to losing both games than winning both. Not trying to be negative, it's just the reality is the 49ers have been very inconsistent all season. I hope the 49ers will be ready for this potentially catastrophic test

Those are the only instances I could find since 2006 of teams having to play on SNF in back-to-back weeks.

Nobody plays on Sunday Night Football in the last week of the season. Everybody plays on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET, except for 8 teams, including the Cardinals at the 49ers, who play at 4:25 E.T..

Offensive wise yes, but giving games away no. Before the Rams lost we won 5 games in a row. We beat Green Bay at there home and Saints in New Orleans all games we were suppose to lose
