Yes as long as they sign him real cheap I have no problem with it. Throw him in there and see if he sticks. If not scrap heap him outa here. We need to throw everything we can at CB right now to find replacements/upgrades.

Ok just did some research on him and lets hope we don't sign him. He was really bad. They have ranked towards the bottom of the CB list.


He started 11 games, surrendered 9 TD's- tied for worst in the league, QB rating on him was a 140.3- Very bad, In 29 games he has 0 Ints. Plus he has had on and off the field issues.

I think I would go CB first round and then target a guy like Moncrief in the 2nd. I don't think he will fall to the 3rd. Then take a center in the 3rd.

Yes I think right now will trade up and grab either Gilbert or Dennard if they don't land him they will goo WR in the 1st. Those 2 are the only one that I think can make an impact in year 1. Wildcard: Roby. Kid has a lot of potential.

I think Verrett could make an impact his rookie year. He would be a nice replacement for Los as someone that can cover the outside as well as the slot.

Cook was never right this year with a hip/groin injury. Has that been mentioned yet? I don't think I've seen it.

Even if you take away this year he hasn't done much(cook). 0 Ints in his career. Not a good sign for a CB.


I agree I would rather have Cox back.

Not a big fan of Cox, Cook has more upside and has the size to play press coverage in our defense

He should be back for training camp though. In the video, he said he tore it the 3rd game of the season and played with it the rest of the year.

His strong vertical helps to erase his minor height deficiency in my eyes. At this point, its trade up for Dennard, Gilbert, or Fuller or hope that Verrett lasts until 30.

Didn't a lot of people consider him a FS prospect when he was coming out of college?
