The Patriots will enter Friday night's portion of the NFL Draft with a league-high four second-day draft picks.

The draft's "second day" now encompasses rounds two and three, with compensatory selections at the end of the third round. The Patriots entered the draft with just five overall selections, but expanded their pocketbook to eight after trading down with the Vikings, who selected Cordarrelle Patterson toward the end of round one.
