Here's the deal from what we've gotten in the last 48 hours:

1.) FSU and Clemson are in according to sources. An article was released yesterday with the approval of the FSU BoT that essentially said FSU to the Big 12 was done. A companion piece from the Clemson side should be coming out soon as well.

2.) Multiple sources have reported Notre Dame is in play now for #13.
- Texas doesn't want to go to 14 w/o Notre Dame.
- FSU wants a say in 13/14 as well.

3.) BYU appears to be trying to hitch their wagon to Notre Dame according to BYU sources. Or ND is using them as leverage somehow. Uncertain what's happening there now.

4.) The Big 12 has gone into full denial mode. Everyone from Deloss to Mack to Neinas today has said they're happy with 10. The message has gone out to the Longhorn pay sites and big boosters to play the "Texas is happy @ 10" card. Looks a lot like last summer.

5.) Don't expect anything concrete until at least 5/30 when the Big 12 meetings take place. Votes will probably take place at those meetings but nothing may be announced until Bowlsby assumes his role later in the summer.

yeah byu isnt a top choice at all....they are probably 8th on the big 12 list thats why they are trying to push in on this new round of expansion

BYU to the Big 12 might be a problem for the Pac 12. If they can stay at 12 great. If they ever need to go to 16, who would they get? Still the big 12 is a weaker coalition than the Pac 12

If there is one school that will never, ever, be in the Pac it is BYU. The Pac would add Cal-Poly or San Diego over BYU.
