whole lot of bodies, not much to get excited over.

reminds me of the classic Pink Floyd line:
"I've got 13 channels of shit, on the TV to choose from"

If the Flames weren't so deep on defence, I wouldn't mind Sutter putting a claim in for Morris Lukowich...

I was just angry you traded for me. So nyah.

What is the deal with Nylander? Hasn't he been gone for like two years?

And so the Redden Debacle comes to a (hopeful) close. For the first time in the history of history, Bryan Murray seems smart. Wonder who will pick him up?

I mean after he clears and is a free agent and gets paid the 750k he's worth as a 6th/7th nowadays.

I think whoever recruited him should be fired.

I don't think they're going to buy him out 43. From what I've heard they will just bury him in the minors. I guess the Rangers can afford that.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him just retire.

I doubt it. he's got more than $20 million left on the contract.
That's tough to walk away from, no matter who you are.

He makes $4.875m a year and don't have a spot on the Washington roster so he played in the AHL and in Finland the last season. It's been really messy and his relationship with Washington is really bad. He can't be traded and won't be bought out because of his salary.
